This is my desk where I work. It's pretty messy. My grandmother knitted the afghan on the chair. I don't like to wear my glasses. I never hung up the carbon monoxide detector that's sitting there and I wear an old sock that's full of holes on my hand when I use my wacom tablet. I try not to stick a zillion post-its all around my monitor but it just happens anyway. One of them at the top says in red, "prevent corneal erosion". The framed photos are of my husband and me when we first moved to California and my sisters and me sitting on my parents couch. I'm feeling inspired to clean my desk right now, but I'm not going to.
It's a north facing window so it never gets very bright and I can turn the blinds if it's too bright but I'm usually working at night so it doesn't matter anyway.
Actually the view is of our neighbor's rooftop and chimney. The chimney top has some messed up plaster on it which drives me nuts and I wish they would fix it up. Birds land there a lot though and sometimes an owl at night that hoots like the traditional sounding owl.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
